Hello everyone, Andrew and Cheryl here from Island 49 a.k.a. Warren's Island.

As many of you will know we started construction of our new cabin last summer and now have a closed in shell.

While we are doing the majority of work ourselves, we are looking for someone to do the siding and soffit for us and are reaching out to see if any of you have any recommendations for contractors.

Letting you know that Council decided at the beginning of July that they were not going to release the Official Plan for public consultation this summer.

They felt it was too rushed to try to implement the Official Plan before the election and didn’t want to make a decision that would obligate a future Council. The decision on the Official Plan will be made by the new Council some time next year.
